A Natural Learning Environment
Nestled beneath the trees, with outdoor learning environments and organic canvas bell tents, Foresta Rincón Multidisciplinary Center is a place of wonder, creativity, learning and adventure.
Step onto our school campus and you’ll hear the sounds of children laughing, actively engaged in learning and play as they explore their environment with natural curiosity. Our school promotes students’ outdoor activities to provide valuable skills relevant to leading a healthy and active lifestyle, while developing social skills.
Keeping Your Kids Safe
Now that hygiene is more important than ever our teachers are taking extra care to keep students safe. They lead hand washing and basic hygiene lessons for students, all of whom partake in hand washing breaks every few hours, and signs are posted about hand washing and disease transmission prevention.
As students leave for the school day, they assist by cleaning their desks, classroom doorknobs, and other high-touch surfaces. In the kindergarten classroom, teachers are using disposable gloves to help children with snack and lunch.
Foresta 4H Club
Foresta 4H club aims to guide students in their process of discovery. Each participant will be working on their own 4H project and will also be involved in the school garden.
